Our Team

Tony Haibin Liu
Partner and President

Mr.Liu is responsible for strategic planning, investment decisions, and overseeing all aspects of the company's operations, financing activities, and investor relations.

Mr. Liu is Co-Founder and Managing Director of Eastern Link Capital (China). Before this, Mr. Liu was Co-founder and Managing Partner of Grains Valley Capital, a private equity firm in China. During his long careers in private equity industry, Mr. Liu has made many successful investments, and brought significant returns to investors.

Prior to working in private equity industry, Mr. Liu had years of experience in investment banking firm. Mr. Liu served as the assistant to Guang Fa Securities' Chairman and a Senior Manager at Guang Fa Securities' investment banking group. While at Guang Fa Securities, he experienced a number of IPOs and M&As. Prior to working in Guang Fa Securities, Mr. Liu was an Investment Manager for China Ship owners Mutual Assurance Association (China P&I Club), where he implemented investments in China's two top 10 banks: China Minsheng Banking Corp and China Everbright Bank.

Mr. Liu has an MBA from Dowling College's Townsend School of Business and a Bachelor in Economics from China's University of International Business & Economics (UIBE).

Shaowen Su
Partner and Senior Vice President

Mr.Su is responsible for business development, property development and financing. He supports overall execution.

Prior to join Eastern Link Capital, Mr. Su has participated in several multi-family development projects in US as equity investor. Mr.Su has worked in venture capital and private equity industry in China for fourteen years. He severed as the Country Manager of China for ACR Ventures (Hong Kong) between 2000 and 2003, and then co-founded Greenbridge Capital Limited and Zephyr Capital Management Company at Beijing in 2004 and 2008 respectively. Five of his portfolio companies went IPO in Shenzhen Stock Exchange, which brought significant financial returns to investors. 

Mr. Su also worked as a software engineer in National Instruments Corporation between 1994 and 1998. He went to study in Wharton Business School between 1998 and 1999, and held Master Degree of Computer Science from University of Texas at Austin, and bachelor degree of Physics from Peking University in Beijing.  ​

Sophia Zhu
​​Vice President

Ms.Zhu is responsible for business operation and property management in Eastern Link Capital.

Before joining Eastern Link, Ms. Zhu has worked as a Licensed Real Estate Broker of Washington State and developed extensive experience in both residential and commercial property transactions and property management. She has also worked as an Operation Manager in IT industry in Redmond, Washington for 6 years before switching to real estate industry.

Ms. Zhu was a Registered Charge Nurse in China before she moved to US, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Tongji Medical College of Huazhong University of Science & Technology. ​
